Eat your heart out! (1st of 2 parts)

Sometimes, after attending a wedding, I rush to the reception venue just so I can breathe in the untouched, unblemished reception set-up.

It helps when you hire a florist/event stylist who shares the same vision as you do, or may even sway you to a wedding reception look that galvanizes all the wedding details you've been dreaming of (or approximate the look you have on your mood/inspiration board).

But sometimes, a caterer with impeccable taste is all you need to set the mood and tone (with delicious food of course!).

Here are some examples of K by Cunanan's wedding receptions that got me all swooning. Notice that although they may re-use certain props for different weddings, the personalities of the couple still shine through.

TIN and MARK

Loving all the pink and pretty details of this set-up.

Polkadot straws!

SANDRA and DAVID

Being a nature-lover, this set-up literally put a smile on my face. The meshing of wooden table numbers, flowers and tree stumps truly brought the rustic outdoors in. And who can resist that cute mailbox? (Insert swoon here) :-)

NEA and MICHAEL

The pastel blooms and the hanging bottles with roses signal the laid-back mood of this reception.

MIYETH and JAIME

Violet and purple blooms, white vases, lamps and tea pots.

MILDRED and BONG

Is combining "casual" and "elegant" an impossibility? I think not. :-)

MAAN and JAQUI

Pretty succulents and stones.

KATE and ARNOLD

Unconventional flower combinations, clothespins and twine.
