Bella, Bonita, Beautiful

Weddings are beautiful. That's a given.

But this wedding is beyond beautiful. Beyond breathtaking. This wedding was truly blessed. :-)

* * *

Last November 30, hubby's co-Alaskan Malamute enthusiast, Jun Sunga, wed his noiva bonita, the statuesque model, Vanessa Matsunaga at the breathtaking Bella Rocca Resort in Marinduque. It was a bond witnessed by close family and friends.

Then, on December 4, Jun and Vanessa hosted a post-wedding party for other well-wishers at White Space in Makati and I was fortunate to have been part of that celebration.

Upon entering the foyer of White Space, a gallery of Jun and Vanessa's photos greeted the guests.

Vanessa's covet-worthy gown was the centerpiece of the cocktail area.

Consistent with Jun and Vanessa's passport invitations, guests from almost every part of the globe were asked to "check in" to help find their seats inside the 350-seater hall.

Guests who had their photos taken also wrote messages for the couple on the photo album provided by Baicapture.

The masked "flight attendants" of Josiah's Catering offered finger food and cocktails.

The main hall was bathed in colorful light and the tables were dressed in damask. Each table had tea light candles and a low/high floral centerpiece.

Each of the tables were named after hollywood movies.

The mini-orchestra provided the lovely music all night. I noticed that they played movie themesongs (possibly to match the movie-themed tables? ).

When Jun and Vanessa walked in, they played the music I still associate with a Philippine Airlines TV ad. :-)

The baby pink cake that matched the dominantly pink flowers at the party.

The wedding enthusiast and escort, my son Isiah with the couple and the other guests seated at the Mission Impossible table.

One of the photos/videos of the wedding at Bella Rocca flashed on the big screens.

The adorable souvenir cakes for each guest.

The y-u-m-m-y chocolate buffet.

This box of chocolates which were prepared personally by Vanessa was passed around while music played. The guest who held the box when the music stopped got to bring home the floral centerpiece.

The floral centerpiece made of pink-tipped carnations, pink and white alstromerias, white, pink, peach and fuschia roses.

The couple being serenaded by the groom's high school classmates.

Guests were also gifted with lacquer wine holders.

The wedding enthusiast truly enjoyed the celebration. Congratulations and felicitações! Jun and Vanessa!
