Weddings and paper

Some say marriage isn't just a piece of paper, but I do like weddings that have paper in them :-) Take for example this paper-pretty wedding that made my heart go a-flutter when I saw the photos in Mimi+Karl's blog:

A few years back, I could not imagine grooms wearing grey suits, much more yellow ties, with sneakers to boot for a wedding. But these days, these grooms look like rockstars!

Mishi Santos of Vatel Manila's team added a touch of chic to the menswear by crafting these paper boutonnieres made of maps. Mishi's handiwork is truly amazing.

Instead of doing the candle ceremony, the couple decided to do a sand ceremony.

Consistent with the travel theme, the escort cards were paper airplanes!
