Marriage in Black & White

This post is way overdue but after attending a black and white affair a few weeks ago, I have been re-inspired to finally post it.

This is one of those weddings wherein a lack of color actually makes the overall look more elegant, and classic.

Succulents, carnations, snapdragons, alstromerias, cymbidums and other blooms provide the pop of color amidst the sea of blacks and whites.

The traditional white dress with the brides black shoes.

Loving the black and white striped ribbon! A fresh take on the usual one-color ribbon for bridal bouquets.

the cameo detail adds a touch of nostalgia

Most of the details were lovingly made by the bride's friend, Mishi Santos-Tolentino, who also did most of her wedding details posted here.

Men in black (literally).  :-)

Note cards for the "wishing tree."

Simply black and white at La Castellana.

These signs are what every bride and groom need on their wedding day. :-)
